tvN announces new variety show ‘Just Human Friends’

tvN has announced a new variety program titled ‘Just Human Friends’ (Geunyang Saram Chingu), directed by Na Young-seok and Shin Geon-jun, scheduled to air in the fourth quarter of this year.

The show features three pairs of celebrities celebrating long-standing friendships, totaling 85 years of combined history. The cast includes Lee Seo-jin and Han Ji-min, who have maintained a friendship for approximately 20 years since working together on the drama ‘Yi San’. Also participating are Kim Yong-gun and Park Jeong-su, who have been close friends for 55 years since meeting in 1972.

The youngest pair consists of Monsta X’s Joohoney and TWICE’s Jeongyeon, who have been friends since their debuts in 2015. The program aims to showcase the authentic, unfiltered chemistry and candid conversations that arise from these deep, long-term relationships during a group trip.
