TVN journalist Marcin Wrona hospitalized for knee‑replacement surgery
Marcin Wrona, a veteran TVN correspondent based in the United States, announced on social media that he had been admitted to hospital for a knee‑joint replacement. The journalist, who has reported major U.S. political events for more than two decades, said the operation was necessary after two years of pain and limited mobility.
In a video posted online he said, “Nie będę oszukiwał ani siebie, ani państwa. Boję się,” acknowledging his fear of the procedure. He asked viewers to send him good thoughts.
Following the operation, Wrona posted another update showing himself using a walker and beginning rehabilitation exercises less than 24 hours after surgery, expressing relief that the procedure had gone well.
