TVP announces return of Polish series Ranczo for 2026

TVP has officially confirmed the return of the cult Polish television series ‘Ranczo’ after a nearly ten-year hiatus. The upcoming eleventh season, titled ‘Ranczo: Zemsta wiedźm’, is scheduled to premiere in December 2026.

The new season will consist of six episodes intended to provide a “beautiful closure to the story of the residents of Wilkowyje.” The production will be directed by Wojciech Adamczyk, and the script is based on work written by the late Andrzej Grembowicz before his death in 2018. Many original cast members, including Ilona Ostrowska and Cezary Żak, are expected to return.

Initial reactions to the released trailer have been mixed. While fans are eager to see the characters again, many viewers have criticized the visual style, citing unusual coloring and framing that some have compared to AI-generated imagery or noted as a departure from the warm atmosphere of previous seasons.
