TVP Kraków celebrates 65th anniversary at Wieliczka Salt Mine
The Kraków branch of Telewizja Polska (TVP) celebrated its 65th anniversary with a gala held on September 24 at the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The event took place 125 meters underground in the recently renovated Warsaw chamber.
During the ceremony, Ewa Godlewska-Jeneralska, Director of TVP Kraków, honored Marian Leśny, President of the Wieliczka Salt Mine, with the title ‘Friend of TVP Kraków’ and a dedicated camera statuette. In return, Leśny and Vice President Łukasz Sadkiewicz named Godlewska-Jeneralska an ‘Ambassador of the Wieliczka Salt Mine’ for her work in promoting the mine’s brand and local community relations.
Congratulatory messages were sent by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, as well as Kraków Mayor Stanisław Kracik.
