TVS REGZA announces flagship Z990S Mini LED and X990S OLED TV lineups

TVS REGZA has announced its new flagship television lineup, featuring the Z990S Mini LED series and the X990S OLED series, scheduled for release on October 16. Both series include the brand’s signature ‘Time Shift Machine’ function, which allows for extensive recording and playback of broadcast content.

The Z990S Mini LED series utilizes a newly developed high-brightness backlight power system, achieving up to 1.4 times the brightness in full-white scenes compared to previous models. This system allows for improved peak brightness even in scenes with high overall luminosity, such as bright sunlight. The series includes 65, 75, and 85-inch models, with prices ranging from approximately 550,000 to 880,000 yen.

The X990S OLED series features a new RGB tandem OLED panel and a ‘Double Aluminum High Heat Dissipation System’ to improve brightness by 1.3 times over previous models. This series is available in 55 and 65-inch sizes, with prices around 550,000 to 682,000 yen. Both lineups are powered by the Regza Engine ZRα, which utilizes AI to optimize image quality for various scenes, including sunlight, nightscapes, and sports.
