TVSN faces supplier disputes amid $30 million liquidation sale

TVSN, a home shopping network, is facing intense pressure from suppliers following the commencement of a closing-down sale to clear approximately $30 million in stock. Dozens of suppliers have alleged that the network is selling inventory for which they have not been paid, leading an insolvency expert to suggest that many creditors may be unable to recoup their debts.

In response to the growing unrest, TVSN has increased security at its headquarters and issued legal warnings against what it describes as abusive messages to staff. The company’s legal representatives served a letter to London-based hair product supplier Guy Parsons, accusing him of circulating ‘purposefully misleading statements’ and intimidating staff after he shared executive email addresses on social media. Parsons, who claims he is owed $140,000, was recently barred from entering the company’s headquarters.

TVSN director Bernie Brookes stated that the company has no current plans to enter administration unless it cannot meet creditor commitments or find a buyer.
