TVSN, a specialist home shopping broadcast network that has operated for over three decades, is preparing to shut down operations. The announcement follows unsuccessful attempts by its parent company, Direct Group, to secure new investment or a buyer to maintain the channel in its current form.

A liquidation sale is scheduled to begin on Tuesday to clear remaining stock. While the board indicated the sale could end if a buyer is found, customers have been urged to use gift cards, vouchers, and store credits immediately.

The impending closure has caused significant distress among suppliers. Some business owners report being left uninformed of the decision and claim they are owed substantial amounts in unpaid invoices. One fashion label owner described the situation as a “significant loss” that creates volatility for her future business planning.
