TÜVTÜRK launches Anadolu Friendship Rally across 11 Turkish cities
TÜVTÜRK, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs EU Presidency, began the Anadolu Dostluk Rallisi on 2 August from Sultanahmet in Istanbul. The ten‑day rally will travel through Çanakkale, Akçay, Efes, Bodrum, Pamukkale, Olimpos, Konya, Niğde, Kapadokya and Aksaray before concluding in Ankara on 12 August.
Around 50 vehicles will take part, stopping at schools and nursing homes to deliver social assistance under the “Good Stops” programme. Organisers stress that the event is not a speed race but a journey to promote Turkey’s cultural and natural heritage, safe driving practices, and community aid.
TÜVTÜRK General Manager Koray Özcan highlighted the rally’s aim to create social impact, while East‑West Friendship and Peace Rally Association President Nadir Serin noted the focus on people rather than vehicle models.
