T'way Air to rebrand as Trinity Air on September 10

South Korean low-cost carrier T'way Air has announced it will officially begin operations under the new name ‘Trinity Air’ starting September 10. The rebranding follows approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport earlier this year.

Despite the name change, the airline’s IATA two-letter code will remain ‘TW’, and flight numbers, schedules, and existing reservations will not change. Passengers with tickets already issued can use them for travel after September 10 without any additional procedures.

The new brand identity includes a new uniform featuring ‘Trinity Grey’ and ‘Rose Gold’ colors. The company plans to implement a Selective Service Carrier (SSC) strategy, offering competitive fares on short-haul routes while expanding premium services—such as enhanced in-flight meals and entertainment—on long-haul routes. To support this transition, the airline is also continuing the introduction of next-generation aircraft, including the A330-900NEO and B737-8.
