Twellium Industrie Burkina hosts national flag-raising ceremony

Twellium Industrie Burkina hosted a regional national flag-raising ceremony on September 1, 2026, at its facility in the Guiriko region. The event was attended by administrative, military, customary, and religious authorities, including the Secretary General of the Guiriko region, Souleymane Nakanabo.

Adama Diarra, the company’s Marketing and Communication Director representing the General Manager, described the ceremony as an “act of faith toward the fatherland” and a reaffirmation of sovereignty and national values such as dignity, work, and unity. Diarra also paid tribute to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) for their sacrifices.

Since establishing operations in Burkina Faso in 2017, Twellium Industrie has emphasized economic patriotism through local production, value creation, and job generation. The company currently employs approximately 800 permanent staff and 350 seasonal workers. The ceremony included a guided tour of the factory's production lines and facilities.
