Twelve Tribes of Israel Ghana to celebrate 40th anniversary

The Twelve Tribes of Israel (TTI) Ghana Chapter will celebrate its 40th anniversary on December 6, 2026, at the Arts Centre in Accra. The milestone event aims to highlight the contributions of the Rastafari movement to Ghana's national development through music, culture, and community service.

The celebration includes a concert featuring international reggae artists such as Micah Shemaiah, Patrick Junior, and Mariam Simone, alongside Ghanaian performers including Aklerh, Ras Caleb Appiah Levi, Nii Darko Positive D, and Natty Gad.

Beyond the musical performances, the anniversary program includes community-focused initiatives such as a donation to Nsawam Prisons for rehabilitation and welfare, a community soccer challenge for youth engagement, and visits to historical sites like the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park to reflect on Pan-Africanism. Ahuma Bosco Ocansey, Overseer of TTI Ghana, noted that the celebration serves to herald the movement's long-standing advocacy and cultural impact.
