TWICE member Sana sparks backlash over revelations of grueling early schedules

During a recent appearance on the YouTube show ‘Sana’s Fridge Interview’ with guest Junho of 2PM, TWICE member Sana shared anecdotes regarding the group’s early career and her personal journey in the K-pop industry.

Sana revealed that during the peak of TWICE’s demanding schedules, the members occasionally went three days without showering and lacked the time to remove makeup between appearances. She described traveling on planes in the same outfits used for previous performances due to time constraints. These comments have sparked significant backlash from fans, who expressed concern over potential labor exploitation and poor working conditions at JYP Entertainment during the group's rookie years.

Additionally, Sana reflected on the motivation behind her career, noting that watching a 2PM concert with her mother was the decisive factor that convinced her to leave Japan and move to South Korea to become a trainee.
