Twin Engine launches Bibibi Comic label with Super Kaguya Meal! spin‑off manga

Japanese animation studio Twin Engine announced on August 7 the creation of a new web‑manga label, Bibibi Comic, featuring 31 titles across a range of genres. The launch is tied to the company’s partnership with Bandai and includes a commemorative issue sold in bookstores for ¥935, which contains special chapters and unpublished artwork from the studio’s hit film Super Kaguya Princess!.

Among the lineup is the first official spin‑off manga, Super Kaguya Meal! (超かぐやメシ！), set ten years after the events of the original movie. The story follows Kaguya and former high‑school student Saijo Saku as they explore everyday life focused on food, joining friends in the virtual space “Tsukuyomi.” The manga is written by director Seigo Yamashita and illustrated by Terya, with the first chapter scheduled for early September and the opening episode available for free on the Bibibi Comic website. A promotional video directed by Kenji Iwaizawa was released on the label’s official YouTube channel.
