Twin Temple releases new album ‘DOOMED LOVERS’

Los Angeles-based duo Twin Temple, consisting of Alexandra and Zachary James, has released their third studio album, ‘DOOMED LOVERS.’ The project was produced by Shooter Jennings and recorded using analog techniques at Sunset Sound in Hollywood.

The album features the single “Nothing Matters,” a track described by the duo as a “modern day Gothic lament” born from periods of depression and loss. The song utilizes a 37-piece orchestra to create a cinematic, sweeping arrangement inspired by 1960s tragic breakup records and Countrypolitan noir.

Reviewers note the duo’s unique “satanic doo-wop” sound, characterized by a blend of nostalgic and eerie melodies. The nine-song album explores themes of longing, grief, and vulnerability through grandiose and minimal arrangements.
