Twins defeat Royals 4-3 to end four-game losing streak

The win moved Minnesota within a half‑game of the American League wild‑card lead, tied with the AL Central rival Cleveland Guardians. Starting pitchers Bailey Ober (Twins) and Michael Wacha (Royals) each allowed three runs, while relievers Kody Funderburk, Andrew Morris and Yoendrys Gómez secured the final outs for Minnesota.
