Two 19‑year‑old motorcyclists severely injured in separate German road accidents
A 19‑year‑old rider of a lightweight motorcycle was severely injured on a Wednesday afternoon near Geiselwind, Bavaria, after colliding with a truck while turning onto State Road 2260. The rider was airlifted to a hospital and, according to the initial report, his condition is not life‑threatening. The truck driver, aged 49, was unharmed.
In a separate incident on Monday near Emsbüren, Lower Saxony, another 19‑year‑old motorcyclist lost control in a right‑hand curve, crashed, and sustained serious injuries. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital, and his motorcycle suffered damage estimated at about €1,000. Police investigations into both accidents are ongoing.
