Two Argentine road accidents with stray animals injure four people

On Friday night, a Renault Clio collided head‑on with a horse on kilometre 8 of the E‑92 highway near San Marcos Sierras, injuring a 54‑year‑old woman with multiple traumas while the driver remained unharmed. Police seized the vehicle and the animal for investigation.

Later the same night, a white Kia Sorento veered onto the shoulder of National Route 250 near General Conesa after striking a stray cattle animal. All three occupants suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital. Emergency services and volunteer firefighters responded, and the damaged vehicle was secured.

Both incidents prompted immediate police and medical assistance and highlighted the hazards of stray livestock on Argentine roadways.
