Patna garage operator dies after being shot four times by assailants

A garage operator in Patna has died after being shot four times by assailants on a motorcycle. The attack occurred late Saturday night in the Bhupatinagar area of Ramkrishna Nagar. The victim was treated at Medanta Hospital before succumbing to his injuries on Sunday. Police recovered three empty cartridges from the scene and are investigating whether the motive was a personal dispute. City Superintendent of Police (East) Shailja Das stated that authorities are monitoring the situation and investigating the involvement of additional suspects.

This incident follows a recent shooting in the Buddha Colony area, where former municipal councillor Anil Yadav was critically injured after being shot approximately five times by unidentified men on a motorcycle.

In a separate incident in Daund, Maharashtra, police have registered a case against two brothers, Adarsh and Aman Anil Jadhav, following the assault and robbery of a 29-year-old man named Dinesh Bharat Dhanve. The victim was reportedly attacked with an iron rod and robbed of cash after refusing to leave a specific area near the railway ground.
