Two children found dead in Ilo, Peru

In Ilo, Moquegua, a three-year-old child and a one-month-old infant were found dead in a residence in the Alto Chiribaya sector. A neighbor discovered the children on a bed and alerted the authorities.

The mother was also found unconscious at the scene. According to witness reports, she stated, “I ingested poison,” while experiencing vomiting before being transported to a hospital by emergency services. The National Police have arrived at the scene to conduct investigations, and the children's bodies have been moved to the morgue.
