Two dead in fatal highway collision in Iran
A fatal collision occurred on the Rastgari Highway near the Imam Ali (AS) bridge involving an L90 passenger vehicle and a Samand. The L90 was carrying six occupants, including four boys and two girls aged approximately 16 to 18 years old.
Firefighters arrived at the scene within four minutes and rescued two individuals trapped inside the L90. Emergency services confirmed that two passengers, a boy and a girl aged between 16 and 17, died due to the severity of their injuries. Four other occupants of the L90 and the 26-year-old driver of the Samand were injured and transported to hospitals for medical treatment.
Traffic police managed the scene to clear the vehicles and investigate the cause of the accident.
