Two dead in head‑on crash on Uruapan‑Paracho highway near Pomacuarán, Michoacán

A black Ford car traveling toward Paracho entered the opposite lane on a sharp curve of the Uruapan‑Paracho highway near Pomacuarán, Michoacán, colliding head‑on with a white box‑type cargo truck. The impact caused the truck to overturn and the two occupants of the car to be crushed.

Emergency responders, including municipal police and the state prosecutor's office, secured the scene, closed the road partially, and began investigations. The victims have not been identified and authorities will determine the exact cause of the accident.
