Two domestic violence incidents reported in Marechal Cândido Rondon, Brazil

On Friday, two separate domestic‑violence cases were recorded in the municipality of Marechal Cândido Rondon. In one incident on Rua Maranhão, a man assaulted his partner after she asked him to help with their 10‑day‑old newborn. Both victims are Argentine nationals who had come to Brazil for the birth. The woman suffered no visible injuries and declined medical care; the perpetrator fled and remains at large while police continue searches.

A second case on Rua Paraná involved a heated argument during which the man accused his partner of hiding his phone, struck her, and was later burned on the face and neck after the woman threw hot cooking oil at him. Both parties were treated by emergency services and later taken to the civil police station. The woman expressed intent to request urgent protective measures and authorities are investigating the circumstances of both incidents.
