Two Dutch Fires Raise Arson Concerns and Missing Resident Search

A fire broke out in a former school building on Laurens Reaelstraat in The Hague, which was being used as temporary municipal offices. The blaze, discovered around 04:40, may have been triggered by an explosive device, prompting a police investigation into possible arson.

In a separate incident, a house in the centre of Rijen was completely engulfed in flames overnight. Emergency crews fought the fire from the outside due to collapse risk, and a specialist team is conducting a search for the resident known as Kees, who has not been seen since the fire started.
