Two educators die in separate traffic accidents in Konya, Turkey

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Can, a faculty member at Sakarya University’s Technology Faculty, died after his motorcycle hit a rock near Kurucuova Mahallesi in Beyşehir, Konya. Emergency responders took him to Beyşehir State Hospital, but he could not be saved. An investigation into the crash was opened.

Physical‑education teacher Mustafa Akkan also died following a traffic collision in Seydişehir, Konya. He had been hospitalized in intensive care at Konya Selçuklu Medical Faculty Hospital after the crash, but despite doctors’ efforts he succumbed to his injuries days later. Both incidents involved male educators from different institutions who were killed in road accidents within the same province.
