Two electricians attacked in Shamshabad following dispute

Two electricians, identified as Haider Khan and Mohd Wahed Ahmed, were allegedly assaulted with sticks at a construction site in Rallagadda Doddi, Shamshabad, on Wednesday, October 21. The incident reportedly began after a paint box fell onto an adjacent building, sparking a dispute.

Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) spokesperson Amjed Ullah Khan has alleged the attack had a communal motive, claiming a mob of 20-25 people assaulted the men after learning they were residents of the Old City. Khan also raised concerns regarding the presence of an individual in khaki during the incident.

However, RGIA Police Station Station House Officer B Sanjeevulu denied any communal angle or mob involvement, stating that CCTV footage shows only five individuals and that the incident was a dispute between two groups. The victims were treated at Osmania General Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
