Two emergency medics killed in Bulgarian road accident

Two emergency medical professionals have died following a serious traffic accident on the Yambol-Sliven road in Bulgaria.

The victims have been identified as Dr. Biser Karachorov, an orthopedic traumatologist and team leader at the Center for Emergency Medical Care (CSMP) in Sliven, and Stoyan Gendov, a paramedic from the CSMP branch in Elhovo.

Colleagues and community members have expressed profound grief, describing the deceased as dedicated professionals who spent their careers fighting to save lives. The Bulgarian Academy of Emergency Medicine and local residents have honored their memory, noting their significant contributions to regional healthcare.
