Two fatal incidents in Argentina claim lives of men aged 68 and 54

A 68‑year‑old man died after being crushed by a car that entered his garage in the Libertador II neighbourhood of the Argentine capital. The accident, involving a Fiat Palio, caused severe spleen rupture and chest trauma, leading to his death despite emergency medical care.

A 54‑year‑old man succumbed to injuries sustained during a machete attack inside his home in Granadero Baigorria, near Rosario. The assault, linked to a robbery, resulted in a fractured skull and other serious wounds; he had been hospitalized since late April before passing away. Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the attack.

Both deaths highlight ongoing concerns about public safety and violent crime in Argentina.
