Fatal Triple-Vehicle Crash on Argentina's Route 7 Near Vaca Muerta

A three-vehicle collision occurred early Sunday on Provincial Route 7 near Tratayén in the Vaca Muerta region of Argentina. The crash involved a truck, a van and a minibuss. The initial impact between the van and the truck caused the truck to block part of the road, and a minibuss later collided with the truck, creating a large-scale pile‑up. The driver of the van was killed; the truck driver was taken to Añelo Hospital and the minibuss passengers were sent to San Patricio del Chañar Hospital for treatment. Emergency police, rescue teams and medical services responded, and traffic on the route was restricted for several hours while authorities investigated the causes of the accident.
