Two Fatal Motorcycle Crashes Reported in Michoacán and Morelos, Mexico

An elderly woman, 70, was killed after being struck by a motorcycle on José María Morelos street in the Jesús del Monte area of Morelia, Michoacán. Police and paramedics confirmed she had no vital signs and the rider, riding an unregistered orange-and-white motorcycle, was detained for investigation.

A separate incident on the Cuernavaca‑Taxco federal highway near Temixco, Morelos, resulted in the death of a motorcyclist when a private van collided with the rider and then crashed into a nearby shop. Emergency services found the motorcyclist dead at the scene, and authorities have opened a criminal investigation into the driver’s responsibility.
