Two Fatal Road Accidents in Italy Claim Lives in Bisceglie and Calabria

An entrepreneur, 47‑year‑old Carlo Gramegna, died on 15 June after his Harley‑Davidson collided with a Peugeot 308 on the Carrara‑Enziteto road in Bisceglie, Apulia. A post‑mortem examination has been completed, and the public prosecutor has ordered forensic and cinematic reconstructions to determine the accident dynamics, naming the drivers of the involved vehicles as suspects.

On a separate incident in Calabria, 64‑year‑old Giancarlo Muti was killed when a car and a heavy vehicle collided inside the Pietra della Menta tunnel on the Statale 18 near Guardia Piemontese. Emergency services rescued one injured survivor, while the road was temporarily closed for technical investigations and traffic diversion.
