Two film projects in Emilia‑Romagna open casting calls for crew and young actors

A short‑film production titled “La Strana Storia di Lilian Vacante” is seeking four technical crew members – Director of Photography, Assistant Director, Set Dresser/Prop Maker and Costume Designer – for a surreal dark comedy scheduled to be shot in the second half of 2027. Candidates must reside in Emilia‑Romagna, submit a portfolio, and the role offers a fully paid project contract. Applications close on 30 September 2026.

A cooperative film company, Mondo REC, is casting adolescents and young adults aged 14–22 for leading and supporting roles in the feature film “La Casa sul Mare”, which will address bullying and cyber‑bullying. Filming is planned in Romagna between October and December 2026. Selected participants will receive meals, accommodation and expense reimbursements, and the completed film will be shown to over 200 000 students during the National Anti‑Bullying Day in 2027 before moving to a streaming platform.
