Two former employees arrested for arson in Sunny Beach

Two former employees of a five-star hotel in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, have been detained following the arson of a company vehicle. The suspects, identified as 28-year-old Aksel Yankov and 31-year-old Miglen Asenov, allegedly targeted an Audi used by the hotel's management.

According to reports, the men approached the vehicle parked near the hotel building with their faces covered, set it on fire, and fled on foot through the beach area. The vehicle sustained heavy damage to its body and interior, though the fire did not spread to the hotel or cause any injuries.

Police from the Nesebar District Administration identified the suspects within 24 hours using forensic evidence left at the scene. Investigators are currently examining a potential financial dispute as a motive, as one of the suspects had previously claimed he was owed unpaid wages following the termination of his employment.
