Two German fugitives added to Europe's Most Wanted list
Two individuals sought by German authorities have been included on the ‘Europe’s Most Wanted’ list, which warns that the fugitives are dangerous.
Wolodymyr Viktorowytsch Tymoschuk, a 29-year-old Ukrainian national, is suspected of leading an international criminal organization that collaborates with major hacker groups. Authorities from Karlsruhe and Reutlingen allege he used malware to steal sensitive data from over 300 companies to extort ransom payments, causing hundreds of millions of euros in damages. He is also wanted by the United States government, which has offered a reward for his capture.
Hassan Fayas Gyndy, a resident of Cologne, is also featured on the list. He is accused of murder, specifically the killing of his pregnant daughter in January 2017.
