Two individuals face criminal charges for alleged sexual assaults of minors

Two separate criminal cases involving allegations of sexual assault against minors have emerged in the United States.

In New Jersey, Christopher H. Kascik, a 53-year-old retired police lieutenant and former civilian employee of the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office, has been indicted by a grand jury. Kascik faces five charges, including second-degree sexual assault and multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a child. The indictment follows an incident in March 2025 where investigators allege Kascik provided alcohol to a 13-year-old girl at his home, leading to her intoxication and subsequent sexual assault.

In Massachusetts, Braden Peters, a 20-year-old social media influencer known as ‘Clavicular,’ has been charged with rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse, and procuring alcohol for a person under 21. The charges stem from an alleged incident in May 2025 involving a 17-year-old girl at a family home on Cape Cod. The accuser stated she became heavily intoxicated after Peters provided her with vodka, which he allegedly claimed was water. Peters is scheduled for arraignment on October 14.
