Two individuals jailed for drug trafficking in Santander, Colombia

Two individuals, identified as Estiven Johan Sierra Guarín and Karol Yesenia Marín, have been sent to prison for the alleged sale of narcotics in the Santander province of Colombia. The prosecution alleges the pair distributed drugs at retail in the municipalities of Barbosa, Güepsa, and Vélez, specifically targeting educational and sporting environments, as well as offering home delivery services.

Following five searches and raids in the region, authorities seized quantities of marijuana and cocaine, along with mobile phones and cash. While the Fiscalía General de la Nación has charged them with the trafficking, manufacture, or possession of narcotics, both suspects have rejected the charges. A judge has ordered pretrial detention in a correctional facility while the judicial process continues.
