Two individuals linked to process for double homicide in Otumba

Two individuals, identified as Luis Gustavo “N” (alias “El Rayón”) and Carlos Adán “N” (alias “El Papayo”), have been linked to a criminal process for their alleged involvement in a double homicide in Otumba, State of Mexico.

The incident occurred on May 28, 2024, in the town of Santiago Tolman. According to the State of Mexico Attorney General's Office, the two victims were in a black pickup truck when four individuals arrived at the scene. It is alleged that “El Rayón” verbally assaulted one victim before firing a weapon, while another individual shot the second victim. Both victims died from gunshot wounds.

Investigators identified the suspects as members of an independent criminal group known as “Los Rayón,” which is reportedly involved in narcotics distribution, vehicle theft, fuel theft, and homicide within the Otumba area. Following their arrest, a judge determined there was sufficient evidence to proceed with the legal process, and the suspects have been placed in a local penitentiary.
