Two injured in Nissan-Motorcycle collision in Rio Branco, Brazil

A traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Rua Antônio da Rocha Viana and Rua Otávio Rola in the Vila Ivonete neighbourhood of Rio Branco, Brazil. A silver Nissan March driven by a woman and a black Yamaha FZ15 motorcycle collided when the car stopped at a mandatory stop sign and failed to see the on‑coming motorcycle.

The riders, 20‑year‑old Antônio Lucas Sales Silva (rider) and 20‑year‑old Ingrid Yasmin da Silva Almeida (passenger), were thrown to the ground. Antônio Lucas sustained an elbow wound and a frontal head hematoma; Ingrid Yasmin suffered abrasions on her upper limbs. The car driver incurred minor arm injuries from glass shards. All three were treated on‑scene by SAMU, then taken to the Rio Branco Emergency Hospital's Trauma Department, where their conditions were reported as stable.

The local Traffic Police Battalion (BPTran) secured the site, conducted a preliminary investigation, and later removed the vehicles.
