Two injured in serious road crash in Senigallia, Italy

A traffic collision on the Arceviese state road in Bettolelle, a district of Senigallia, left two people injured on the afternoon of 10 July. The crash involved three vehicles – a Citroën C3 driven by a 72‑year‑old resident of Ostra Vetere, a Fiat Punto driven by a 31‑year‑old local resident, and a Fiat Doblò truck. The driver of the Fiat Punto suffered severe injuries and was taken in critical condition to the regional hospital in Torrette, while the Citroën driver was hospitalized with non‑critical injuries. The truck driver was unharmed. Local police, fire crews and ambulances attended the scene, secured the area and began technical investigations into the accident’s cause.
