Two injury incidents reported in Argentina: traffic crash and carbon monoxide poisoning

An 18‑year‑old woman was injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a Volkswagen Fox in the north‑side intersection of Arrayanes and Nahuel Huapi in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. Police and medical crews treated the rider, who suffered severe pain and limited movement in her left leg, and transported her and the motorcycle driver to the Regional Hospital for further evaluation. Separately, three adults – two women aged 50 and 44 and a 49‑year‑old man – were hospitalized after suffering carbon monoxide poisoning in a home in the Renacer del Plata neighbourhood of Luján de Cuyo, Argentina. The family had been heating the house with coals for several hours in a closed space, leading to the buildup of the odorless, colorless gas. Emergency responders provided on‑site medical care before the victims were taken to the Regional Hospital for treatment and monitoring. Authorities warned of the dangers of using open‑flame heating indoors.
