Two major traffic collisions in the Netherlands leave several seriously injured

A severe crash occurred on 10 June in Brielle when a scooter struck a car at the Krammer. Both riders were seriously hurt and were air‑lifted and taken to hospital by a trauma helicopter and three ambulances.

On 11 June a high‑speed collision on the N261 (Midden‑Brabantweg) near Waalwijk involved two cars. One vehicle overturned into a ditch, striking lamp posts and requiring extensive emergency response. Police said the driver was likely intoxicated. The road was closed for several hours while the wreckage was cleared.

Both incidents prompted large emergency deployments and caused significant traffic disruption in their respective regions.
