Two men arrested in Andrew Gosden disappearance case

Two men, aged 38 and 45, have been arrested in connection with the long-term disappearance of Andrew Gosden, a teenager who went missing from Doncaster, England, in September 2007. The arrests were made in London with assistance from the Metropolitan Police.

South Yorkshire Police stated the men were arrested on suspicion of kidnap and human trafficking. The 45-year-old suspect was also arrested on suspicion of possessing indecent images of children. Both individuals have since been released under investigation. Detectives described these as the first arrests in the case.

Andrew Gosden, who was 14 at the time of his disappearance, was last seen leaving King’s Cross railway station after purchasing a one-way ticket to London. His father, Kevin Gosden, expressed that the arrests have intensified an already emotional period for the family as they continue to seek answers regarding his son's fate.
