Two men indicted in separate US child pornography and sexual offense cases

Nathan Dwayne Kanniard, 28, of Marysville, has been indicted by a Union County grand jury on 45 felony counts. The charges include 42 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and allegations related to downloading child pornography.

In a separate case, Daryl Antonio Barnes Jr., 24, of Lexington Park, Maryland, faces multiple charges following an indictment by a St. Mary’s County grand jury. The charges include three felonies and one misdemeanor related to alleged sexual offenses against a 14-year-old and the possession of child pornography. Barnes is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a minor in Hollywood, Maryland, and filming the conduct. A jury trial for Barnes is scheduled to begin on February 1, 2027.
