Two men plead not guilty to kidnapping and sexual assault of teens
Two men, Josue Orozco, 27, and Moises Guardela-Marrugo, 19, have pleaded not guilty to charges involving the kidnapping and sexual assault of two teenage girls in Washington state.
Prosecutors allege the incident occurred on August 13, when the victims, aged 15 and 17, met the men in Olympia under the impression they would be provided with alcohol or marijuana. The men allegedly drove the girls in a van to a home near Renton, where Orozco is accused of locking both girls in a bedroom and raping them.
Both men were arrested on September 2 in Auburn and Kent. During the investigation, authorities seized several vehicles, including a Corvette and a Monte Carlo, as well as firearms, cash, jewelry, cocaine, and fentanyl.
Orozco faces charges of second-degree rape, third-degree rape, and two counts of unlawful imprisonment. Prosecutors also intend to file additional charges against him for unlawful firearm possession and an alleged attempt to bribe a detective. Guardela-Marrugo faces a charge of second-degree attempted rape.
