Two men shot dead in Brazil's Pará and Amazonas amid police-related investigations

In Itaituba, Pará, 24‑year‑old Talison Rodrigues da Silva was found with multiple gunshot wounds on Friday afternoon during a police operation called Fim de Linha. He had recently left prison in Altamira and had reported receiving death threats. Police recovered about ten 9 mm shell casings at the scene and are inspecting the area for the perpetrators.

In Manaus, Amazonas, an unidentified man was executed with more than ten shots early Saturday in the Compensa neighborhood after posting a video that accused two alleged Rocam officers, Erico da Silva Serra and a person nicknamed “Barata,” of drug‑related crimes. The victim’s wrists were bound and a message attributed to a “Tribunal do Crime” was left nearby. The case is being investigated by the Specialized Homicide and Kidnapping Division.

Both incidents are under homicide investigations by local police authorities.
