Two Missing Children Located in Spain After Days of Search

A 16‑year‑old girl named Júlia, who had been missing since 17 July in Pineda de Mar, was found and returned home. Her family confirmed she is safe but gave no details about how she was located. The Mossos d'Esquadra thanked the public, media and institutions for spreading the call for help that led to her recovery.

On 2 August, a 5‑year‑old boy who disappeared early that morning in Castelló d’Empúries was found on the beach of Can Comas. Local police, emergency services and park staff coordinated a search, and citizens rescued the child, who was in good condition. Authorities praised the rapid citizen response and cooperation that prevented any injury.
