Two people rescued after sailboat capsizes in Konstanz

Two people were rescued after their sailboat capsized in the Konstanzer Trichter on the evening of August 31. Emergency services, including the Konstanz Fire Department and DLRG Konstanz, were alerted at 19:47.

By the time firefighters arrived, the two individuals had already been pulled from the water and brought to shore. They were reported to be wet but uninjured, receiving medical attention from emergency services as a precaution.

The vessel, which had nearly sunk, was secured by a fire fighting boat and moved to the harbor area. Divers and emergency crews worked to right the boat using a crane, after which the water was pumped out. The boat was ultimately returned to its owner, and the operation concluded after approximately three and a half hours.
