Two players hospitalized following violence in Córdoba football league

Two young footballers, aged 17 and 20, were hospitalized after being struck in the head during violent incidents in the Liga Dolorense in Córdoba, Argentina. The incidents occurred during separate matches on Sunday.

One altercation took place following a third-division match between Independiente de San Javier and La Paz, involving players and technical staff. A 17-year-old player was diagnosed with a concussion and treated at the Villa Dolores Hospital. In a separate incident, a 20-year-old player reported being kicked in the head by a player from Comercio, also resulting in a concussion diagnosis at the same hospital.

The Liga Dolorense Executive Committee stated that police and referee reports will be submitted to the Disciplinary Tribunal to determine responsibilities and apply regulations. Both hospitalized players were later discharged in good health.
