Two Polish teenagers honored with Iuvenis Forti badges
Nina Młodawska, 12, and Adam Wrona, 15, have been awarded the Iuvenis Forti badges by the Chief Commander of the State Fire Service for their heroic actions in Kielce. The two teenagers, members of the Zagnańsk-Chrusty Youth Fire Brigade, provided critical first aid to a woman who collapsed in the city center on August 9.
Upon witnessing the woman lose consciousness, the teenagers assessed her condition, attempted to restore consciousness, placed her in a safe position, and alerted emergency services via 112. They worked alongside a local restaurant owner to apply cold compresses to the victim until medical professionals arrived.
The awards were presented by the Świętokrzyskie Voivode, Józef Bryk, during the National Family Training event in Kielce. The Iuvenis Forti distinction is specifically granted to children and youth under the age of 18 who demonstrate exemplary bravery and life-saving skills.
