Two separate cases of child injury reported in Poland

In Nowy Sącz, a 20-month-old girl was hospitalized with severe injuries, including subdural hematomas, broken ribs, and a broken arm. Following an investigation by the District Prosecutor's Office in Nowy Sącz, a 22-year-old mother and her 19-year-old partner were arrested. They face charges of abusing the child. The male suspect is also accused of causing bodily harm and providing psychotropic substances to his partner.

In a separate incident, an 8-year-old girl required surgery after hitting her face on a desk during a school break. The child suffered displaced incisor teeth and a broken nasal bone fragment. Her mother alleged that the school failed to provide adequate medical assistance, noting that the child continued to bleed and experience pain for several hours before being picked up.
