Two Separate Murder Incidents in North India Prompt Police Action

In Faridabad, Uttar Pradesh, 32‑year‑old Arun Surendra Singh was shot dead in front of his wife and child at Panchal Ghat while stopping for a cold drink. Two men in a white car opened fire, striking Singh twice; he died at the scene and his body was taken to Lohia Hospital. Police arrived, secured CCTV footage and began an investigation.

In Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, 34‑year‑old Pankaj was killed after his bike was collided with by scorpio‑riding goons who then opened fire, also injuring his mother Biramati. The incident was linked to an old rivalry. Local police formed four special teams to hunt the suspects and collected evidence including cartridge cases.
